Training horses

It’s possible to get your horse trained at Grandstar Stables. If you’re interested in letting Elena train your horse, don’t hesitate to contact us! We’d love to discuss the possibilities.

Elena de Keijzer is responsible for training the horses. She has been riding since her 7th birthday and got her first horse when she was 14 years old. This horse was named Grandstar! He was 3 years old and had just been saddle broken. Elena reached fourth level with Grandstar with ease, but the PSG was to hard for him. That’s why the first horse within Grandstar Stables was bought, Manchester TC. Elena and Manchester rode young horse competitions and national championships together. Since then our horse family has gotten a lot bigger and now Elena is succesfully starting Hensie Ballerina at PSG level. In addition to riding the horses at Grandstar Stables Elena has worked and ridden horses at numerous big dressage stables in the Netherlands. Eventually Elena hopes to reach GP-level, but she also loves riding the young horse competitions!

Instruction/Lessons and Clinics

It’s also possible to train with Elena! Elena got her instructors certificate in february 2024 and thus is now certified. If you’re interested in a (trial)lesson, please contact us. Elena loves teaching all kinds of combinations.

Are you interested in arranging a clinic at your stable? That also lies within the possibilities! Elena enjoys giving clinics due to the fact that she can help a lot of different combinations on clinic days. We’d love to hear from you to discuss the details of your idea for the clinic-day.
